Need to make /boot bigger

Is parted/gparted safe?
I know if like... the electricity goes *poof* then you prolly be getting more work, but otherwise, is it safe?

and is there a special way to increase the size of /boot in difference to other directories?

Is there a "online" 'dd'

kinda related to http://voidmain.is-a-geek.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=16401#16401 I wonder if there is a 'dd' utility that can be run when the server is up and running? I need to 'dd' the boot disk again it seems. Have gotten mails from "S.M.A.R.T." that there are some sector problems wit...

COOL :D I'm gonna try that next time, cos I think I gotta get up to F13 since F14 is out. oh, I thought of something, where will it store the "temporary" download? I got plenty of room on the RAID setup but I usually have to recompile the driver when a new kernel is out so I think that won...

Well, then what is the positive side of this instead of DL the DVD and upgrade from that? If you do DL the DVD, you at least got it "in" your house.
Any other feature(s) this will give you that "an old" upgrade won't?

But is this safe really? I tried installing and once even updating through FTP instead of DLing the DVD and do it locally. I lost the network for a second or two and then the whole installation got bad :( Is this better? like, does it download all files needed for the upgrade and THEN start the upgr...

phpSysInfo 3.0.7

I found this very informative and I got a fast question. Your page just show the link xx/sysinfo but when I try this I get this xxx/sysinfo/index.php?disp=dynamic and I get this: http://i53.tinypic.com/300tyt3.png Question: If I don't edit the config file at all for this program, it WILL display som...

You say usual broken packages? I've had that once before I think and you helped me out with it. Does this now happens every time when upgrading? like from F12 and up? (I had broken packages from 12 to 13) ...and why call these upgrades "upgrade", really? all privately changed config files ...

Yep, both .htaccess and .htpasswrd file is in /var/www/usage
Both files are chmod'd as 644.

The errors I see when googling is that I should have a handler about 'auth'.
and that is OK.
Code: Select all
LoadModule authz_user_module modules/mod_authz_user.so

This is in the httpd.conf

Is there any log somewhere where I can see any errors?
I've tried httpd's logs but nothing about this :(
Just tried this 'usage' again, also with my basher52 account.
I still get the same "error". I get the login box but the password won't work.
