another thing my prompt looks something like this: [root@v-603-kalvb-82-112-21 ~]# and that is a name given to the server by my ISP. so, if I get real DNS name fixed and point it to this IP, will this name change? or should I manually set it to the same as the site name? or won't this matter at all?...

yep it works
but from work using this win32 knock client don't seem to work properly.
sometimes it knocks with the same port twice thus I have to knock a couple of times to get the sequence right, but forgetting this it's working :)
