I installed the standard runtime I downloaded from Sun I think, could it be that something went wrong during the install? If I download a new version and ...

Red Hat & Java question
I tried to install Limewire, it gives me "Error: can't find libjava.so" (it's in /usr/lib/j2re1.3.1/lib/ppc) So next I verified if the java path was in my .bash_profile, it wasn't. I added it (/usr/lib/j2re1.3.1/bin) thinking that the problem would be solved .... It wasn't, still the same error, so ...

Nice little app but some questions .....
When I was usinf Windows I had Mailwasher which I used to "bounce back" spam mail and/or delete it directly off my isp's server. I found something similar on freshmeat today: SaveMyModem 0.16 (Development) http://freshmeat.net/releases/112407/ SaveMyModem is an anti-spam, mail-shaping, and delete-on...

Ok, so I took every single piece of advice you guys gave me and applied it to my site :) It took me the whole evening to do it because I had to redesign it from bottom up using tables instead of frames, plus I forgot a lot of things and made some mistakes so I had to upload each page at least 3 time...

:( You're right about the frames and older browsers/text only browsers. I didn't think about that, just thought that the use of frames allowed you to do pretty cool things like non-resizable spots on a page where you can put a menu, or the top/bottom of a page that remains static while you scroll th...

Yeah, my wife calls me "freak" all the time when I bash Microsoft  I can understand your happyness, apparently for you (as for me) the word "freak" doesn't necessarily have a negative connotation. However for many people it does, and therefor I find it sad that people would call you a "freak" ...

I recently started to learn html and put together a little site just to see what cold be done and how to do it - http://users.pandora.be/Ice9 The way I did it is I have an index.htm page (mandatory) which includes two frames - menu_bar.html and main.html. No I'm not blocking cookies, in fact I just tried to log out and delete your cookies. I re-entered my login and password and still the same. I checked and the cookie's back there. Don't bother, it's only a minor annoyance anc I'm sure you have better things to do than try to solve such a trivial pro...

I was coming here via http://voidmain.kicks-ass.net/forums/index.php, I tried clicking the new link you provided and click through to the forums, still same issue.
Well it's not really an issue, I only have to click "Log in" each time.
But it was kinda easy when I logged in automatically

I've been away for a day or two, saw the post about log out and create a new cookie.
Ok, I did, I logged back in but I can't check the box that make me automaticvally logged in when I come here?
Someone else had that problem?

Guys, how about making a mandrake repository ourselves and getting it hosted by someone from the boards? I don't know if that would be do-able, I made some rpm's from tarballs myself but I don't know what it would take to maintain a complete system database for a distro? We could start with download...
