Well I have tried a lot of things in Yast with samba, I can get the machines to show up but I can't get in... Also I created a share on suse and I can see them also on other machines but it prompts me for a user name and pass... I enter my user name and pass for my account and it still will not let ...

How do I get Suse to see my network folders on my windows server?

It was easy on fedora but they are not showing up in Suse...

Well I think I just hosed it up today... I started the IM client for the first time tody and added my first username and boom, locked up... After 20 min I did a hard re-start and that did it... I tried to repair and that didn't work... Oh well play some more and maybe I can get it to boot.... :evil:

Well when I installed Suse I went with Gnome. When I installed Fedora I could do so much right from the get go but for Suse I can't get into my network folders set up. Firewall Tips???

Any of you have any tips for my firewall? I have had to open some of it up to get my bittorrent client to work and I am wondering about security with my computer now. I am behind a NAT router so I am thinking I am still safe, any opinions on this?

Also, while I was instaling Suse I whiped that hd clean with 1's and 0's... Removing the ntfs, now the drive does not show up in my computer window.
