It works! Thanks. Randomly? Not sure exactly what you mean here but it sounds like you want a content filter. Dansguardian is an excellent content filter: Not really looking for content filtering. Basically I am wanting to play a prank on a couple of my users who just waste time playing pogo games. ...

Squid/Samba Domain Controller - Require authentication
I recently set up samba as a primary domain controller on my server. How can I set up squid to require authentication before allowing access? Basically I want it to use the same usernames/passwords that people use to log in to the domain. (Seamless auth would be a big plus). Also, is it possible to ...

Still having no luck leaving the delete recordings screen after I delete recordings :( It also seems to want to start recording the second I select Watch TV now for some reason. I have also come to the conclusion that I need a TV that supports S-Video. These converters that convert VGA to Composite ...

Multiple Network Cards
Simply put, I have a linux machine at school with 2 identical network cards in it. However, only the first one (eth0) is detected, and only 1 hardware device shows up in the Network configuration hardware tab. lspci on the command line shows both network cards. Both cards are identical, not sure if ...

Capture Card came out of a Windows machine that I never used much. It's a Happauge WinTV NTSC 62471 Rev A. Quality isn't the greatest, but oh well. I have been having one problem though. After deleting recordings, I am never able to leave the "Delete Recordings" screen unless I close and reopen the ...
