Happy Thanksgiving for every one in the Grand ole USA.
Now the real question. Who here will be up at 4am tommorow morning out waitin in line in front of some store? I for one will be. Nice 120gig HD at best buy for 50$. Well worth gettin up a little early. Any other crazy people out there?

Ok when i try top mount a cdrom or floppy from a normal i get the following error. shuiend@shuiend:~$ mount /mnt/cdrom/ mount: only root can mount /dev/cdrom on /mnt/cdrom I have chmod 777 /mnt/cdrom, /dev/cdrom, /dev/sr0. Slackware 9.1 is an excelent choice of a distro to switch to. I myself have gone from redhat to slackware and i love it. Slackware does not use GRUB. It uses LILO. you could install GRUB ur self if you wanted to but i see no reaon why when LILO works just fine for booting. I myself do soem programmi...

Ok Calum sorry i havent responded sooner but i have been busy. I have a D-Link 520. I got it about a year in a half ago. You need to make sure you get the non plus and that it is a prism2 chip set. You motherboard also has to be pci 2.2 complient for this card or so it says. I really cant comment on...

I am positive that it is a 520. I have used it in Red Hat and Suse with no problems with these drivers. Red Hat i just installed the RPMS and bam it worked. In Suse it got configured in yast for using the drivers in work. Its just i dont care for either of those 2 very much. I find slackware to be a...
