Remote SSH

Postby kovax » Mon Jan 24, 2005 9:52 am

I have just stood up a Fedora Core 3 system. The issue that I have having is that I can not connect to the server remotely via ssh. I have verified that sshd is running but I can not connect from other machines.
Client being used is Secure CRT and SSH Secure Shell.

Thanks for any help

I'm not sure what Secure CRT is but did you happen to enable the Firewall on your FC3 server and not open ssh? You can run "system-config-securitylevel" and check the ssh box.

That was it!!
Thanks!

Secure CRT is a SSH cliet that is made by Van Dyke. They also have Secure FX. They just are not free like Putty.

Thanks again.
