anyways... Ive, once again, reinstall the system due to ANOTHER!!! HDD crash(better get newer HDD's
I didn't "use" the SELinux, but i did install it in the warning thingy.
From this version, FC3, whenever I set the RunLevel to 3 and then trying to
use: 'startx', I only get the "default" X(some kind of basic windowhandler), but with this I cant do much(I know I can, but I "can't", if you get it
I want the "original" KDE when I use 'startx'
Is there a parameter to startx I should use or can I config some nice little conf somewhere?
I did try some change, in the a 'conf' and by that I got another loginscreen.
I changed the line...:
'x:5:respawn:/etc/X11/prefdm -nodaemon'
in /etc/inittab by changing the 'prefdm' to 'kdm' and as far as I know
this changes the loginscreen to another manager; KDE
so, the question is, how can I use 'startx' to start KDE from RunLevel 3?
