I've had a bit of fun recently on my FC box. It began with a damaged coax cable for my broadband connection which kept me off line except for my 56k modem for a few days. When I got that fixed a few hours ago, I did my updates and then the fun began.

solved my issues, once I reinstalled my nVidia driver, and then had to do a "fixfiles relabel" after Fedora decided it didn't have permission to read my fstab.
Anyway, if you haven't already hit this little speed bump, and apt or whatever updater you sue tells you it wants to update your xorg files... might want to hold off, and read this first.

It's very odd that I never ran into this problem and my systems update themselves every night. My RPMs in question are now at a higher level than the ones mentioned. I update from the RPMforge repositories (Dag, Dries, FresRPMS, etc). I also would never have to run "fixfiles" because I never use SELinux on any of my machines (can't see taking a 7% performance hit for very little reason). Thanks for the heads up though. It might save someone else out ther!
