It seems to be working now but it is still a bit flaky. It seems to work when it wants to. It alson is not locking the screen.

I think i have figured out more of my problem. I am running vmware workstion on my RH9 and when I launch it my screensaver on my RH9 stops working.
Has anyone seen that one before?

Actually yes, I use VMware workstation at work on FC5 and I have a little different problem. If VMware workstation is up and running and has control over the mouse/keyboard and my screen lock kicks in on the host system I lose my mouse. VMware seems to keep hold of it (and hide it) and there is no way to get it released that I am aware of except to shut down (by using keyboard only) or kill the VMware guest and then restart X. I try to remember to release the keyboard/mouse from the VMware guest (which I only actually interact with a small percentage of the time) but sometimes I forget. I wish I knew of a workaround (other than disabling the screen lock).
