nevermind...error, has to be http, https, ftp or file.

moving back to try the dvd install

I got all kinds of hdd block errors and dvd read errors

A check of the disk says it's fine. The dvd player is functioning properly...a check of the hdd says badmbr, error 110 and I've long lost my partition magic book to tell me what a 110 is....crush it all, clean install!

Parition magic? What would that have to do with anything? Is that what you are using to "check the hdd"? If so, why? :)
