Setting up Web server, PROBLEMS!

Post by moto526 » Tue Sep 11, 2007 11:42 am

Hey, I am trying to set up our web server and we are running Mandrake and Apache. We can't get Flash to display and we can't get a .php page to display... Any ideas would be VERY helpful...

Okay if I disable all java script then the flash files show up... Any idea how to make all this work together?

Mandrake? I didn't know they were even still in business. All of this should work out of the box. Not nearly enough details to even know where to start. Can you be a little more specific?

Well, flash works if we disable all java script in the browser... If I turn scripting back on flash goes away so that is what is so confusing.

But JavaScript and Flash are a client side technology that would have nothing to do with Apache, unless I am missing something. Like I said, it's impossible to tell without details (code, URL, specifically what you are trying to accomplish, logs, etc, etc).

Hmmm, it's been working for me. Is your email address that you are registered here with still valid? You could turn off email notifications until I figure out what's causing the problem.
