Has anyone ever seen this before? I am trying to get X to run on a red hat server. I am using SecureCRT and Cygwin to bring back X to my desktop.

Although I have never attempted what you are attempting I believe the key line in the output you have posted is this:

Looks like a typical Xauth issue. Your client has not been granted authority to connect to the display (usually via the "xauth" or "xhost" commands). Might want to do a little searching in those areas.

have you tried
xhost +

on the X-window command line?

this is to allow anybody from anywhere to connect to your local Xserver

then try to start xterm from the server (after login) with something like
(replace with your machine ip)
xterm -display 10.10.10.10:0
or start something from your X-window command line using something like
ssh -lX user@server /bin/xterm -e someprog that uses X-window

if any of the above ask to accept a ssh-key just reply (yes)
