Why do they have to hide the textmode by default :(

I just found out that 'rhgb' and 'quiet' suppresses the text mode boot, why do they this by default :(
The good will all the text is that you can quickly see anything wrong so I just turned that off.

They're trying to dumb you down like Microsoft did with their users. ;)

I guessed that but it's so much more good to keep the user more clever than MS.
... and it sure looks cooler when I show it off to buddies that don't know jak about Linux :P
