Hello my fellow human beings,

I like making movies. But you see my problem is that I only have a movie program for Winblows.

What is that I could use in RH8?

And I am looking for the best and the most reliable.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to know what kind of movies you like to make and what Windows program you use, but you can start here

I use kino for capturing/editing from my Sony digitial video camera. Then I create movies in any format I want and even create VCDs. If you happened to have followed my apt installation instructions you might have added the following to your sources.list:

rpm-src http://kino.schirmacher.de/ redhat/8.0/en/i386 kinorpms


If so, you can install Kino by just typing "apt-get install kino" or install it via the Synaptic graphical installer.

Another one that is more powerful and probably more for a professional studio is cinelerra. It's a little too much for me and it would require a lot more to be able to understand how to use it.
