keyboard problem

I got a problem with my keyboard i was hoping someone could help me with. First of all, my ps2 keyboard port is broken. But that's ok. I have a USB keyboard (turbo media rb-9801r). It works in any operating system I am running except linux. it works fine through the installation and in rescue mode and everything. but when I boot it I get the caps lock key indicator stuck on and the keyboard is inoperable. I'm running RedHat 9 on an 800MHz Duron MSI motherboard K7T-Turbo2. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

The above problem report is for RH8 so it may not be related. You might want to add your problem to that bug or start a new one. Starting a new bug would probably be the best bet. Search bugzilla first to make sure there isn't a dupe. I did a search but I really didn't look at everything...
