I am Back and Love Windows even more!!!

Not that I am a popular visitor to this site but Void may remember me. actually if you look at my rating, you can tell my posts are few and far between. I am a pretty intermediate penguin now and feel I am taking my knowledge to a whole new level. I guess I better explain my subject line before Void deletes it for those words in the same sentence. I am going for a security cert and we do nothing but beat up on MS machines. it has really helped my warped brain see how insecure they make there machines. Anyway, void we should do lunch sometime!! its been a while

Heh heh, my boss has been through all the SANS courses and is SANS certified. He used to go to all the SANS conferences. Don't know if he's going to any this year.

im an old windows man...sorry :(

Even tho i cant really figure out linux, im beginning to understand all the hatered(sp) against Windows.
and what i REALY!!!!!!!!!!!!! hate is all this fu**ing swaping-shi*
a WindosInstallation in a VMWare installation under a Host-Linux host gets better reviews than a pure WindowsInstallation, and this is tested by a friend of mine at work...
im starting to wonder if im supposed to install Linux, VMWare and under that... Windows to get better performance for games...who knows...lol

My pal...(above) tested some time ago the performance against a BETTER windows client than his was... but he got the trophy in every test:)

As I can figure out so far... its due to its better MemoryHandling...
not swaping for every...GodDa**...thing
(sorry admin...I'm angry)
My pal pushed the StartButton on a WinXP that was a intallation under VMWare and was thiking... "the memory would go up in use, but the swap shouldn't..."... but NOOOO... MemoryUsage up:d 2-4 MBytes and the swap about 200MBytes :(

Alltho I cant handle Linux that good...well...lets say, not at all :(
I still starting to LUV it :) since u can do ANYTHING with it :D

B52

(again...Amins..sorry for being a drag... :( im getting drunk and angry :( )

You wouldn't happen to be a dwarf would you? Your first name wouldn't be Hank would it? If so, I think I know you. :) Actually Hank the angry drunken dwarf died a year or two ago. So sad. :)

Heh heh, I doubt anyone outside the US would understand the "Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf" reference:

http://www.hankthedwarf.com/

He was on the Howard Stern Radio/Television talk show all the time. Stern is what we call a "Shock Jock" here in the states. I don't know if this type of "entertainment" exists outside of the US. Actually, I am pretty sure the Brits have their share of this type of programming but I could be wrong.
