Interesting mix of music. Skynyrd, Metalica, and Nirvana. I like them all too though although I only own Skynyrd (I haven't bought any music in a while). One thing I just can't figure out, what is the fascination with the cartoon chicks? It seems like this is the latest thing that everyone is in to. I guess I must be over the hill. :)

BTW, here's my desktop:

LOLOL!!!

Dont feel over the hill man. I dont know anything about cartoons as well (besides Tom and Jerry and Mickey). I just see them all around in computers and I guess I jumped on the wagon. I think it must have something to do with all the latest console games that are anime like :clueless:

Am a huge fan of "old school" rock, even though Nirvana cant be calssified as old school, not yet at least IMO. I just like rock where the guitar sounds like a huge boat that tears apart the ocean, if that makes any sense. There are some new good ones too, but most of them are too comercial oriented...one hit and they are poof vanished :(

i'll probably do that.

actually, if you have them all then that's more than i do, i don't think i have local copies of all my desktop pictures, and i have had so many different image hosting situations i can't be certain of ever getting all the pictures back that i unleashed out there into the internet!

and while i'm here:

here's one of my desktop at "work":

http://www.boomspeed.com/polytheism/working.jpg

i suppose that's as off topic as it's possible to be since there is not one iota of linux in that picture (except for what's in the phoenix window i suppose, which is 110% linux and no messing!)

Hey, what distro are you running? I see Opera on KDE but no distro (doesn't really matter, just interested). I like your choice of sites for the screenshot. :)

Heh heh, how can you tell? I don't really see anything that jumps out as distro specific to me. I could make any distro look like that (may have to borrow some icons, etc)..

[edit]
Ahhh, now I see an ICON with the Mandrake Star in it...
