Microsoft today announced two $250,000 rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the virus authors behind the infamous Sobig and Blaster worms.

Why don't they take that money and actually fix their operating system? It's like me leaving my garage door open when I go to work. I get tired of buying a new lawn mower every week to mow the lawn because someone keeps stealing it. I *could* close the garage door when I go to work, but I would rather go around the neighborhood posting reward offers for anyone caught stealing my lawn mower. Duh!

God are they still in business... sorry...it's... been... so long. *walks off shaking head and scratches bum absently. In the background a command line reports another failed attack whilst servers buzz like bees producing the uptime honey.*

Microsoft could use the money to fix the Operating System...

But if they made it so it worked why would we upgrade.
