I've been looking for a way to easily check the IP on a TP outlet and was off course thinking of android.
Instead of taking, as we do know, a laptop and connecting that, I was wondering if there is a way to use an Android mobile and some sort of cable/app for that.
Like a TCP/IP <-> USB converter and then an app that can check the IP of that outlet, if there is a DHCP server or if not even getting a link.
.....and I'm NOT talking about WIFI.
UPDATE: I was just thinking, I can also use a virtual Linux installation that runs in Android if that makes it easier.
