Palm Pilot and Xandros

Post by cdhgold » Wed Apr 07, 2004 7:19 am

I have loaded Xandro on my laptop and it is working well except for working with my M515 palm. I got the KPilot app that comes with Xandros to recognize the device (over serial port) but it does not seem to actually synch the data to any of the apps in Xandros. I also have Ximian Evolution 1.4 installed and would like to have it be the app that syncs with my palm but it asks for GNOME Pilot. The only place I have found GNOME Pilot is at
http://packages.debian.org/stable/otherosfs/gnome-pilot
but there it is listed in indivdual deb packages and I when i try to install those via the xandros installer .. xandros networks keeps giving me depndecy errors. Would like to find a RPM for GNOME pilot. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris

hmm... doesn't Xandros have apt-get? It is based off debian so it should (I'm probably wrong tho :() You can use that to download it.
