After my daily update&upgrade I suddenly have an empty kmenu, an empty control centre, a lot of icons disappeared from kicker and some applications just plain don't start anymore.
I guess kdelibs being held back is to blame for this.
It's like what I've read on Liuxquestions.org - Welcome to unstable, things inevitably break and get fixed a couple of days/weeks after.
Oh well, I still have mail, I can listen to my music and I can surf the Net so I'll just have to be patient
