hehe...I figured out what happened.

As evolution and epiphany are part of the base package, when I removed them, they removed a whole bunch of stuff. Mildly important things. You know, like Gnome and Nautilus. Which explains why there were no errors listed, there weren't any. It went as far forward as it could and was just waiting for me to tell it what to do.....So, I think I'll leave it on there and just change over to firefox and thunderbird :D

You could also think about dropping ugly gnome altogether :wink:
