Problems with URPMI

Back in December I updated my packages on my webserver including an update for the program URPMI, which is the update program itself. Since then however I have been unable to use URPMI to make updates to my system. A list of ftp servers that are available to download updates from will appear, but after I select one, no matter which one I choose, URPMI says that the server is unavailable. I tried updating the list of servers used, but the same thing occurs. I have been updating my webserver by downloading the packages individually, which is quite the pain in the ass. Has anyone experienced similar problems, and if so how did you remedy this?
