Probably can guess from the title, ive got midi probs.
All the midi proggies i try says "cant open /dev/sequencer" .
I assume its cos i just did a real rush job of setting up my sound (slack doesnt automatically set up the sound) by doing a /usr/sbin/modprobe cmpci then adding it to rc.modules. Nothin about the midi sequencer though.
Ive got a C-Media 873X (i dont know the last number
) I think the midi thing is called MPU-401, well i know something is MPU-401 anyway hehe.
