Router

Postby Refalm » Sun Aug 31, 2003 3:53 pm

I've been thinking about installing Slackware on my Pentium 133 Router, and throw off Smoothwall, because I don't like it.

Now, installing it looks pretty easy, but what happends when I installed it? How do I make it to share the (cable) internet connection (through a DCHP server), forward ports and do SSH?

Please respond within this week, I have lots of spare time this week to install it...

MoR will have the best info on this, he runs a similar setup. Try and talk to him directly if you are in a hurry for the info. (he doesn't come here much)

Use Shorewall, and Webmin.

Everything else should be easy then.
