I have an old bubble jet 200 printer that i would like to use in linux. I have never done any work at all on gettin printers working and what not. I have googled it and really havent fouind any information on it.
In Red Hat and others there is a really easy graphical tool to add printers. Just select your printer model from the list and that's about it. If you use KDE I think it also has some sort of graphical add printer utility. But the link above was off of Slackware's web site so I assume that will work for you.
Damn that was a fast response. Thanks for the info will be checking that out. Also i just installs CUPS and how would i get that started? I believe i may night that for printing
