program for rebuilding an NV raid 0

The world of Linux is loosing a user

my pal, the so called: LinuxGuru, is not gonna use any OS that ends with an 'X' anymore, since he lost 400G of data, when trying to reinstall the OS.
Suddenly the OS told him that it saw two disks that was not initialized(i think he said) and made just that... initialze them, and all data was lost.
He was using nVidia's RAID controller and have set them up as RAID 0, for better speed.

He has seen posts about the nVidia RAID has trouble in Linux and right now looking for some sort of rebuild that can handle this raid controller.

If any of you know of any program that can help him, please help out and maybe he'll stay into Linux.

No backups huh? Too bad. It's Murphy's law that will happen sooner or later no matter what the OS if you don't keep good backups. This question would be better answered on the NV forums though.

Did you post the problem on the nVidia forums? It looks like a lot of people are having problems regardless of OS:

I don't think I would run Linux on nVidia hardware other than maybe their graphics cards.
