my pal, the so called: LinuxGuru, is not gonna use any OS that ends with an 'X' anymore, since he lost 400G of data, when trying to reinstall the OS.
Suddenly the OS told him that it saw two disks that was not initialized(i think he said) and made just that... initialze them, and all data was lost.
He was using nVidia's RAID controller and have set them up as RAID 0, for better speed.
He has seen posts about the nVidia RAID has trouble in Linux and right now looking for some sort of rebuild that can handle this raid controller.
If any of you know of any program that can help him, please help out and maybe he'll stay into Linux.
