I think it's pretty obvious why they are rejecting you:

I told you a long ways back in this thread that many providers do not accept mail from dynamic IP addresses and this is a dynamic IP address right? It says your IP address is considered a blacklisted address (by them). You'll have to ask they exactly why that is but my guess is they'll probably tell you because they just don't accept mail from a dynamic address. Only they can tell you exactly why they rejected your mail.

I just got the response from Telia and they said that they are using two lists:

http:/­/­cbl.­abuseat.­org/

I removed it from abuseat.org and the other one the responsible owner of the IP space can request do do this so I just sent a request of this to my ISP.

Hopefully they are able to do this before the weekend


and as I'm sitting here thinking of these lists... they are not free right?
If so, you think I'm able to set this up on my server?
(well able and able... with your help off course, lol)

Look around their sites and see what you can find. Search Google for "rbl sendmail". If there is something you do not understand ask away.

another thing about backups of files for the sendmail and other stuff.
Is these files (not recursive) enough? at least for sendmail?

If you are backing up /etc recursively then /etc/httpd/conf.d would be included in that no? A tar archive of /etc should get most/all of your "configuration". It obviously doesn't back up user's mailboxes which would be contained in /var/spool/mail and their home directories.

No, not recursively so that's why I added that /etc/httpd/conf.d/ directory.
Even if it don't seem we're gonna use the "users" mailboxes, I'm gonna add that too. My backup is free I just mail them to a gmail account that i created

so, do you think I could start a new server with mail/web/etc kinda fast with these backuped files? and it's files only not directories.
I do have backups of the MySQL databases and the "www-files" etc and some other files that I figure is kinda important.



UPDATE: Oh I just realized, how do I know every mail account on the machine? to create a backup of those?
right now I know that it's gonna be just 3 or 4 accounts, but if I add some later I might not remember to add those if you get my picture

I added the line into my sendmail.mc file and the restart of sendmail was without any errors(did not check the maillog since the start of sendmail was OK)
Have you any idea how to test this? I have one idea and that is to set a "bad" configured server up(like people that haven't talked to you lol) and then try to send an email to this server, but this sounds kinda like a little bit too much work lol

You can also search this site for "spamassassin" and you'll probably find a lot of info as I've discussed it and RBL/DNSBL numerous times.

How do I make the www.xenonlyse.se to work?
When I try that address I get an login page but the xenonlyse.se works
I tried to add a Alias in xenonlyse.conf but that didn't work.

You want them both to go to the same place right? Under each "ServerName xenonlyse.se" line add a "ServerAlias www.xenonlyse.se" line.

P.S. I just realized what you are selling there. You know I was looking for some good helmet lights last year as me and a few buddies were planning on entering a 24 hour race. I also needed some lighting for our Colorado rides.

I just got a mail from my ISP and it said that private persons are not allowed to have their own mail server but if I relay through theirs the mail will work and this is the way it's supposed to work.

Now I wonder if I do a relay through their mail server, the user name of that must off course be added on their server thus thinking of using the web server name as the mail account name and that should look something like this, right? mailaccount@bahnhof.se

And if this is the only way to do it, I have no other way then to do it.
Now the question is how to set sendmail up to use their mailserver and this has to be both incoming and outgoing, right? their server it is smtp.

I'm gonna keep googling on this but I'm not very hopeful to find anything useful hence my post here
