can't find binary file

Postby Basher52 » Wed Jan 21, 2009 1:35 am

I use rkhunter, it's a Rootkit Hunter (http://www.rootkit.nl/projects/rootkit_hunter.html) but now when I installed the new version of it: rkhunter-1.3.2-5.fc10.noarch it can't find the binary.
Seems there are some stuff left from earlier Fedora installations because they were installed in the dir it's trying to look for it.

Code: Select all
[root@ftp /]# rkhunter -V
-bash: /usr/local/bin/rkhunter: No such file or directory

I've been searching the anything with rkhunter but there's nothing left after I removed some, so how can this be when I install the new version?
