There has to be something out there.

Don't tell me to use failfox or rusty Chrome, because Opera Link kicks a little too much butt to bother using.

I am sick of making libflashplayer.so unreadable by normal users just so I can browse the web without draining my battery on pointless animation.

you can selectively block content by right clicking on the page and choosing block content. I don't know how to set it up to automatically block content from certains sites though.
