What is the possibility of that Fedora 14 will find the new hardware on that motherboard and just work?
Instead of reinstalling the OS and every applications.
I think it will work with flying colors but...

I have replaced motherboards in my main desktops several times and the only issue I might have run in to is the MAC address on the network card will be different and might get assigned a new eth* name. If that happens just edit the /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules file and comment out the old interface and change the ethx name on the line with the new mac address to whatever ethy name you need it to be.
