What cable to use for direct connect to WAP

Hi there,

I am going to be trying to un-brick a Linksys WAP54Gv2 following the instructions on void's site. One thing I want to be clear on...

If I connect the access point directly to the ethernet port on the computer, do I use an ethernet crossover cable or a straight through cable?

Does this apply to using it as a wireless client as well?

Typically when you connect two switches together you would use a crossover cable. When you connect a NIC to a switch you would use a straight through cable. I actually don't believe it matters which one you use with the Linksys box because I think the ports autosense and either cable can be used.
