If I wanted to help debug the Linux Kernel with testing rc releases, and even beta's where would be the best place/way to start?

Where do you think I should start?

Of course you would start here:
http://www.kernel.org/

where you will find a way to report bugs:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/docs/lk ... -bugs.html

Fair enough.

What if I wanted to learn one day about writing my own kernel modules?
