backtrace?

I had a segfault when running transcode the other day, and the guys on the transcode users mailing list were interested in seeing a backtrace. I took a quick google browse, and found out that backtrace is one of the gdb functions. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

They probably want something like this:

That is, run it through gdb.

Thanks, running that right now. Of course I didn't build transcode with any debugging options, so we'll see what I get...
