Sadly his condition seems to become worse.

My dad always told me "drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of bed rest". Not much more I can offer here...

I hope he's okay. Slackware has really meant a lot to me. It wasn't the first Linux I ever installed, but it was the first one that kept me up nights searching google and browsing how-tos trying to figure things out. I think I'm a better person for it, so thanks for all your hard work over the years, Pat. Now I use it on an old P2 box as an ftp server, and it only ever goes down if the power spikes. I hope that Slackware will be a professional-grade Linux distro for years to come.
