ssh error

ssh error

hmmm... does someone know what i should look into after recieving this error from ssh while trying to use it....

sshd: root@pts/0: relocation error: /lib/libnss_dns.so.2: symbol __res_maybe_init, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

Since it says "sshd:" would this be a problem on the computer im triyng to ssh to?

I would say it's on the server side. Did you upgrade something recently? If you upgraded glibc did you restart sshd? This has to be done after upgrading glibc. If that doesn't fix it here is someone with a similar error and what probably caused it:
