open a mac file?

erm is there any way to open a .sit file under linux?
...i can't even recall waht a .sit file is however either... is that a compressed archive deal?

It's a Stuffit archive. No idea how you would open that in Linux - but more than likely, someone has done it before.
To help with your google search, I can tell you that Stuffit is made by Allume Software.

ive tried the beta linux version of stuffit to no avail..........
.....maybe a mac emulator would work

there is a windows version of stuffit expander... try it under wine?
