It is a new project to start a Linux distribution with new innovative ideas and new technologys including Mono. If you have experience in C#/Mono this project could use you!

I don't understand why everyone is so giddy over mono, C#, .net, etc. I personally don't want anything to do with it as I don't trust the source(s). I'll stay away, but thanks anyway.

Well at work i have no choise of choosing programmingtools :(
but if there's even the slightest chance NOT to run thing on a microCRAP server, I'll take it :P thereby making them know it IS!!! cheaper to use Linux,
and since they only care abourt money, this can be a way in :P

i sure wanna learn how to make eg. PHP stuff, but since i cant, and still not found time to learn it :(
i cant program in C/C++ cos im basically a VB programmer :( but just started on C# and there is one big project comming up and that'll be in C#.

Ill try anything to make them closer into Linux that'll make me be"forced" to learn and use it, and that's good... right?

I suppose if it helps transition people "away" from the borg then it's a good thing. :)

The whole idea is to create a Linux Distribution that uses a lot of ideas from .NET

In fact at the moment there are just snapshots of some of the basics like Emotion and Portal that will make it, it doesn't just bundle with mono apps, but there are lots of other cool ideas in the making. And the project is open to suggestions.
