The files are binary downloads, ie. movies, applications, mp3's, etc.. So say if you were to search for "
Linux" it would search the database for any "pack" name that contained the term "Windows". It then displays this information in a way that would allow the user to know which irc server, channel and bot had this pack for download. Then you could use any one of your favorite irc clients (mIRC, KVirc, bitchx, etc) to connect to this server and channel and download the file. If you notice in the search results the server and channel are hyperlinked to an "irc" protocol (irc://) which, if you have an irc client installed on your machine, will launch it for you and connect to that server and join that channel.
