Completely non-linux and not even trying to pretend otherwise:

Hi. I make music, and i live in London. You can come to one of my many upcoming gigs if you live in London (or will be in the vicinity soon) or you can join my emailing list or buy a CD if you are elsewhere. Here are the links:

http://calumsmusic.netfirms.com/live.html (for upcoming live gigs)

http://calumsmusic.netfirms.com/list.html (for the mailing list)

and
http://calumsmusic.netfirms.com/calumflyer2.jpg for a quick look at my most recent handout flyer.

I hope this isn't breaching the rules, i know it's blatant pimping but it *is* the loung after all!

Starting LimeWire....

Now that we're on the topic, how do you look at p2p filesharing as a musician? Do you feel the pirates are robbing you or not?
Hope you don't mind me asking.

I did a web site for the last band I was in. We had a CD but we also made all of our music available on our web site for free (MP3 and ogg). We figured the more exposure we got the better.

Perhaps offer a few tracks for download?

Or offer the whole the whole cd as a playlist.

This is a great flash player. You could have a link for a popup window so people could listen to your music while they play online. It is open source, with a bsd license. You can do whatever you like with it :/
