quick question... how do i set the keymap to dvorak for the console at boot? (and is it the same for BSD?)

Its not 'till now that i realized i have to shut down X to install my Nvidia drivers and the keys are only set to dvorak in X.

Hey congrats fellow dvoraker. But I don't know - I set it up at installation.

You can always do a "loadkeys dvorak", that's solve the problem for one session.
