While trying to compile a functional kernel (again--all the kernels I seem to produce always create a kernel panic ), I noticed it, at one point, asked me what languages I want support for. Why does this matter? I mean, I'd think that KDE or something would control that.
Or is it just so the kernel can print out messages in different languages?
