sound problem.. modules trying to load... grrr
Posted: Mon Dec 08, 2003 3:13 pmwell... my computer hasnt been its fastest lately... i think i may know why.. I looked at syslog because KDE crashed when starting and then i realized that within the last week (ish) my syslog has septupled in size. Its now in 7 syslog files (syslog.1, etc)
It is compltely filled with a couple error messages that are constantly added....
and its completely filled with that. I have no idea what would be calling modprobe. The sound in XMMS works fine. Any ideas? And why would it be trying to find those modules????
