I was checking to see what kind of spam mail I have on my old email account.

When I typed in the password this came on and it just made my head spin 360 degrees.

Well not the actual image above,,,but an image saying that I need passport and all that crap.

I just had to gimp it. Actually this is the 1st gimpage I have done so far.

nooooooooooooo way.
I did when I was using Windos.
That was more than a year ago.

Now that everything at my place runs on Linux (Two Desktops and my little abused Laptop), I dont even visit web sites that deal with Microsoft.

Windows is nowhere to be found in my Hard Disks. Period.
I even gave up gaming. Instead of going and playing games why not devote my time in actually learning something.

In fact I take EXTREME care of my Linux Cds (Debian-Gentoo-Slack-Red Hat-Mandrake).
My windos CDs (98 and 2k upgrade) are somewhere floating around near my TV. I think I even lost the CD keys.

<RANT>

I actually got an invite (e-mail) not too long ago from a local outfit that does training for M$ and to respond to the invite I had to install passport. I just sent them an e-mail saying that I couldn't get passport to install on my computer so I couldn't register for the event. Not that I would have gone anyway. In the e-mail I sent the specs of my computer, including the OS (RH 6.2 at the time). They actually sent me snail mail so that I wouldn't lose the opportunity to participate :-) I couldn't make the session anyway... too much work to do at the office :-)

What a bunch of morons. Now if I could only get rid of M$ at work and not be bothered with this nonsense....

The last one of those I had to go to was over a year ago, and after the presentation a M$ rep came up to me and started talking to me. If she hadn't been so attractive I might have been more rude, but she was saying how happy I must be to finally get away from the old Solaris and VMS servers we were using at the time and getting Windows. All I actually did say was that I was very comfortable with the systems we were using.

I think that the IT director here is finally giving up on converting me. The last time he was in my office (about two or three weeks ago) said something like "When will you grow up and stop fighting Windows?" I answered him and said "I DID grow up and now I use Linux for everything I can."

Damned Windroids....

Today the funniest thing happened in class.

My C++ teacher is a moron. Me and anothr guy in the class actually help the other students with C++. He is clueless and soon to be fired.

Anyways, I was looking for some things in class about iptables and he asks me what am doing. I replied that I just started to learn about iptables in Linux.

His answer "Why you use Linux? Bill won the war"
My reply "Not yet. Just give it 5 more years".

At that time a girl jumps in and says to him "Ohhh no! Do not mess with George and his Linux. Thats the last thing you wanna do with him".

Te he he!

You're right, you can't talk about them. But you can talk bad about them. :) I would prefer just not to talk about them at all though. A bad remark about them here and there certainly won't get you banned. :)
