Well i got me an xbox today. Within 20min of being home I had already taken it apart and currently working on gettin linux on it. I plan on flashin the TSOP and using it as a dedicated movie/mp3 server. So far it has been very interesting. Just reading right now. Tommorow I might actually get to soldering the points and puttin Linux on it. I will keep you guys up to date.

Some guy shot one with a rifle and the bullet bounce off the case. These things are tough as hell. Also a pain in the ass to figure out what the hell i am doin. Maybe its just cause im tired. Must goto sleep now

in all fairness, i can honestly say, when you forget about the manufacturer, the ugly shape, the massive joypads, and the stupid subscription, the xbox can be really quite oops.

Ok how do i log into a cvs server on sourceforge? I need to download the following folder http://cvs.xbox-linux.org/cgi-bin/viewc ... nux/kernel Once I get that i should be able to get on my way with installing linux but thats only after i do some soldering
