un-bricking WRT54G

Postby jmlalley » Mon Sep 12, 2005 6:24 pm

Greetings

I am trying to write docs for the DD-WRT WIKI.I woulk like to use what you have written at http://voidmain.is-a-geek.net/redhat/wr ... vival.html as a basis for some documentation and add an update for version 4 hardware as well as some tips for Windows users (sigh yes I use windows and Mac) giving credit for the work you have done.

is this OK with you?

Cheers

I don't know much about DD-WRT but from the "What is DD-WRT" page in your wiki it appears you are one of the good guys. Asking for permission reinforces that appearance. I have no problem with you using the document in whole or in part. I actually wrote it based on a message I read over at the OpenWRT forums (seems the link no longer works since they redid their forum).

You probably already have seen this but there is some good information in the OpenWRT wiki about recovery as well:

http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Tro ... cddb375cba

They actually now discourage my document. :)

P.S. Free yourself and ditch that Windows garbage! :)
