there was a few people like that in the Gentoo forums when I was using Gentoo... i think this quote would have to be the best:
"I don't think that Debian can really compete with Gentoo. Sure it might be okay, but when it comes to dependencies, you probably are still going to have to get them all on your own. Or is there something like portage in the Debian world as well?"

LOL!
There was a fanatic Gentoo user here at work, I say "was" because he got tired of having to wait for 20+ hours for KDE to compile every time and he's using Debian now. :D

it's not often that people's words speak so clearly for them that there is literally nothing more to add.

so far the only people i can truly say this is the case for are george w bush and these gentoo users!
