Anyone know of any decent tablets coming out based around the dual core ARM chips or the AMD Ontario series chips? I'm looking for something around 1280x720 res like what that Nvidia Tegra2 based HTC tablet is supposed to have, but I don't want it to be tied to a phone network.
OSS drivers for all hardware would be a major plus.

I'm interested in the same thing. I see Android 3 coming out for a bunch of new tablets coming out but I think I would rather have a full blown Linux on a tablet. Android is "okay" for a phone but waaaaay too limiting for my taste. The guys I work with have mentioned a few that are coming out but they were all higher priced than the iPad. I definitely do not want an iPad and I won't buy something until I can get a decent tablet for no more than 2-300 dollars.
