Search in here is not good

Did you make any changes to the search in the old forum?
'cos this version of the search ain't good
I've tried to search for my own posts but can't find them.
I used to do that since I use this place as a "dictionary" of stuff I need to look up again... due to bad memory

I just clicked on your username and clicked "search user's posts" and it showed all 740 of them. You don't get that? If not, here's the search it ran:

search.php?author_id=126&sr=posts

well yeah THAT I get, but then I want to narrow it down a bit with words... that just gets zip.
try the my nick and 'sendmail', you get nothing and you KNOW I made a lot of that

Seems to me like the search don't go through old posts, or like an index has been "nullified" when you upgraded, if you get my point.

I switched it from phpBB internal searching to mysql searching in the config. Not sure why the internal phpBB searching does not work but it sounds like if you are running on mysql it's just better in general to use the mysql based searching.
